For The WQA Convention & Exposition

The 2024 WQA Convention & Exposition is March 5th-7th, with pre-convention programs hosted on March 4th. All events are taking place at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

About the Scholarship:

WQA’s Leadership Engagement And Development (LEAD) initiative focuses on supporting members in the water treatment industry to develop advanced leadership skills while forging deeper engagement and participation within the WQA and broader industry. Part of this goal includes supporting accessibility to the in-person education sessions, open volunteer group meetings, and interactive experiences at the WQA Convention & Exposition.

WQA Convention & Expo Costs Covered By This WQA Scholarship:

  • 2024 WQA Convention & Exposition registration (pre-convention programs not included)
  • Up to three nights at the convention hotel

*Please do not register or book your hotel on your own. WQA Staff will handle the registration and hotel bookings for the selected scholarship awardees.

About The Scholarship Application & Selection Process:

This scholarship questionnaire will ask 3 short answer questions and for your contact information. Applications will be anonymous and reviewed by a taskforce immediately following the submission deadline. You will be notified of the status by a program administrator, via the email provided in the application, no later than Tuesday, December 12th. Eligibility:

  • Recipient must be working in the water treatment industry with a company that is a WQA member in good standing.
  • Past recipients of the 2023 WQA Scholarship are not eligible for a scholarship in 2024.

The Scholarship Taskforce is also looking for recipients who have not been able to experience the WQA Convention & Exposition before or in recent years and who are looking to increase their engagement in the industry with WQA. It is recommended for applicants review the Convention schedule and activities to help define your goals.
