About the Scholarship:
WQA’s Leadership Engagement And Development (LEAD) initiative supports professionals in the water treatment industry in building advanced leadership skills and deepening their engagement within the WQA community and beyond. The program aims to increase accessibility to the in-person education sessions, volunteer group meetings, and interactive experiences offered at the WQA Convention & Expo.
LEAD Scholarship Covers:
- 2026 WQA Convention & Expo Registration
- Three Nights at a Convention Hotel
Please do not register or book your hotel on your own. WQA Staff will handle the registration and hotel bookings for selected scholarship awardees.
Eligibility:
- Recipient must be employed by a WQA member company in good standing.
- Past recipients of the 2025 WQA MYLC Scholarship or 2025 WQA Convention Scholarship will not be eligible for this year’s scholarship.
The Scholarship Taskforce encourages applications from individuals who have not recently attended the WQA Convention & Expo and are eager to increase their engagement in the industry through WQA.
