Keynote Session
Tuesday, April 18 | 3:00 – 4:30 p.m.
We’re in Las Vegas, so our Keynote Session is going to be BIG and BOLD! It’s our grand gathering of all Convention participants, and it’s packed with entertainment, an inspiring keynote address, WQA’s Annual Business Meeting and association honors. Put it on your calendar now — you can’t afford to miss it!
Keynote Address
Mae Stevens
Senior Vice President, Banner Public Affairs
Mae Stevens, an environmental and water infrastructure policy expert who advocates for point-of-use and point-of-entry applications, headlines our Keynote Session. She is a Senior Vice President at Banner Public Affairs, where she provides strategic environmental and infrastructure policy expertise to a diverse range of corporate, municipal, and non-profit clients. She is also the Chair of Banner’s water infrastructure practice, the only full-service public affairs practice in DC dedicated to the water sector.
Previously, Stevens served as Environmental Policy Advisor to Sen. Ben Cardin, D-MD. She staffed the Senator during the crafting and passage of the 2016 and 2018 Water Resources Development Act bills. During her seven-year tenure on Capitol Hill, Stevens was responsible for the Senate Democrats’ response to the Flint water crisis and focused most of her time on the intersection of water, equity, and affordability, and generally how to make cities and towns even better for the people who live and work there.

Mystery Entertainment Guest
Nope, we’re not going to tell you in advance who or what the entertainment is, but it will be an act worthy of our location in the middle of the Las Vegas Strip. Be a part of the excitement as our Keynote Session gets off to a grand start!
WQA Leadership Awards
WQA’s Leadership Awards presentations are always a highlight of the Convention. Hear from our newest Hall of Fame and Lifetime Membership Award recipients, and help us celebrate all these industry leaders, including the newest member company to be honored with the Excellence Award.

Hear From Industry Leaders
Where are we as an industry, and what’s ahead for us? How can WQA support its members, and how can WQA’s members support each other and our great industry? You’ll hear all this and more from association leadership.
