Education

From technical knowledge to business operations skills,
WQA’s Convention education helps you excel

Technical Skills Customized to Your Experience

WQA offers three tracks of technical education sessions to help learners at all levels:

  • Those brand-new to the water treatment industry
  • Those with an intermediate to advanced level of expertise
  • Those interested in commercial-focused applications and research updates

Skills for Running a Successful Business

From finding sales leads to setting up effective business processes to developing effective leadership skills, the Convention’s business operations sessions can help your water treatment business thrive. And for those wanting a more intensive, personal experience, we’ve set aside a full day before Convention starts for dealers to learn new skills in marketing and finances. Consider joining us March 4 for the 2024 WQA Business Boot Camp (separate registration required).

Professional Certification

Many of the Convention education sessions offer Continuing Professional Development credits needed to maintain your WQA Professional Certification title. With a little advance planning, you could earn a years’ worth of credits needed for recertification during the few days of the Convention. Browse the full education schedule for accredited sessions to see what’s possible for you.

As a bonus, WQA again is offering its popular Commercial/Industrial RO Sizing workshop the afternoon before Convention starts. This hands-on problem-solving session for understanding and practicing RO sizing could earn you 0.4 CPD in one afternoon, March 4!

Not yet certified? Check out wqa.org/profcert for a better understanding of the advantages this voluntary credentialing process offers for you and your business.
