Emma Hughes
Emma Hughes is an Environmental Engineer at Eastern Research Group, Inc. (ERG), where she is responsible for providing technical contract support to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) WaterSense program. Ms. Hughes has five years of experience in environmental planning, compliance, and sustainability. For the EPA WaterSense program, Ms. Hughes conducts technical research for water-efficient consumer products, including reverse osmosis (RO) systems, water softeners, and faucets. She has conducted specification reviews and played a vital role in the development of specification documents, including the WaterSense Draft Specification for Reverse Osmosis Systems and its accompanying supporting statement.
