Dave Smith
Dave began life in the water treatment industry with Fleck Controls in 1992 following service in the U. S. Army for four years. He spent the next twelve years assembling all models of Fleck valves, focused mainly in the commercial families. Dave then joined the technical services dept., where he learned about water treatment in the real world. WQA educational materials proved to be of great benefit along the way by providing a solid foundation of water chemistry fundamentals.
He has worked in roles from training and sales to product management and with companies involved with manufacturing and distribution. Currently Dave works as the Sales Manager for AQ Matic Valves & Controls which produces AquaMatic branded components used in water treatment.
