Building Water Treatment Options after Wildfires, Chemical Spills, and Other Incidents
Disasters are increasing in magnitude and frequency across the North America, and drinking water is becoming contaminated. Firsthand observations and drinking water contamination discoveries from notable disasters will be shared. Disasters include wildfires, chemical spills, and other events where drinking water was or may have been contaminated. The fate and transport of these exogenous contaminants in plumbing will be addressed. Gaps associated with current knowledge will be identified.
