WQA Business Boot Camp 2023
Morning Sessions:
Boosting Your Business With High Standards – Want to take your business to the next level without purchasing any new equipment, hiring additional staff or launching a new marketing campaign? Develop high ethical standards that customers can trust. By learning, applying and promoting WQA’s Code of Ethics, member companies stand out from the competition simply by always doing the right thing.
Comprehensive Marketing – Are you missing the big picture?
Don’t let the array of social media tools and advanced marketing technology distract you from the tried and true: A fundamental approach to marketing drives impact and aligns your team. This session will detail how owners, sales representatives, and everyone in between can work together to build a marketing plan that informs your community that you are their resource for better water.
Marketing Benchmarks –Tracking your path to new customers
When companies set and track marketing benchmarks, they too often focus on symptoms instead of underlying challenges. This session will teach you what to measure, how to measure, and how to use that information to make strategic decisions to maximize your return on investment. Do you know how many leads are coming in, where they are coming from and what happens to them? What is your cost per lead? The answers may surprise you.
Financial Data Points –Is your money working for you? Understanding the financial data.
The measure of a company’s health is found in its financial data. We will detail the top financial data points that every business should use to guide the profitability and future of their business. Whether you are the owner or office manager or even if you outsource your accounting needs, you must understand how the process works. No one should be in the dark regarding the finances of their business.
Luncheon Keynote:
“Why we are Here: PFAS, DuPont and the Future of Clean Drinking Water”
At lunch time, we’ll pop in on the PFAS Symposium to share a meal and hear from keynote speaker Robert Bilott, an attorney, author and environmental advocate whose 20-year environmental lawsuit against DuPont exposed what has been called the worst case of corporate coverup and environmental contamination in modern history.
Afternoon Working Session:
Choose one of the sessions below to dive deeper and walk away with deliverables for immediate impact:
- Financial Health Check: Using your own data, learn how to manage your business’s finances. This working session will give you the knowledge needed to measure and manage the financial health of your business. You will analyze your data by working with templates and plug-and-play worksheets.
- Marketing Plan: Create a marketing calendar for your organization. By planning the type of marketing, along with frequency and investment, you will be able to track your progress and determine measurable outcomes for ROI.
